Larry Wood, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Larry Wood, a native of Lincoln, is board certified and specializes in diseases of the Retina and Vitreous. He received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and a Master of Science from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He completed a residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and a fellowship in Retina at Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago. Dr. Wood has clinic and performs surgery in Lincoln. Dr. Wood and his wife Sue have three children, including Dr. Matt Wood. Dr. Wood enjoys spending time with his family, running, golf, hiking and skiing.

Dr. Wood is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, Nebraska Medical Association, Lancaster County Medical Society, Nebraska Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons and the American Society of Retina Specialists.
